Clare Evans

Clare Evans is a juggler & diabolist, mum of two teenagers, actor, musician, photographer, artist and trains in aerial silks.

Clare taught herself to juggle at the age of 16, started local juggling workshops and landed her first gig at 17. She moved to London at 19 and became involved with Circus Space (now the National Centre of Circus Arts), specialising in juggling & diabolo, also training a little in static and flying trapeze, acrobatics and acro-balance.

She has performed and worked with various organisations and companies, in film & TV and set up Clare’s Circus in 2011. Now after a break, she’s getting back into performing again.

Clare is also a qualified gymnastic coach, is trained in acting and directing, theatre lighting and stage management. She has worked as an actor and stage manager for various touring companies and a lighting technician for Battersea Arts Centre, The Royal Opera House and The London Coliseum/English National Opera.

Jennie Quigley

Jennie’s work covers many mediums – jewellery, lanterns, water colour, carnival costume design and making, graphic design, murals and more. She has worked as a graphic designer, primary school teacher, with puppets, runs after school craft clubs, takes on public and private murals and other art commissions. She makes giant bubbles, balloon models, juggles, enjoys gardening and bakes the most delicious cakes.

Joined Clare’s Circus in 2012.

Ross Alkirsan

Ross is also a multi talented artist and art school trained. He is a film maker, model maker, graphic designer, actor, keen gardener and just getting into bee keeping. He juggles, makes giant bubbles, plays the guitar and worked in Gerry Cottles Circus as clown.

Luke Oakey

Luke is a fully qualified pre-school teacher and youth leader. He is full of energy, has an incredible amount of patience and an amazing array of juggling tricks and diabolo moves. If you can’t find or get hold of him, he’ll be paddling a small craft on a lake somewhere or exploring a stretch of wilderness.
